Associação
Bem Comum (Common Good Association) is a Brazilian non-governamental non-profit
making organization legally registered in São Paulo (SP), Southeast Brazil.
Founded in 2002, the organization develops educational, socio-cultural and socio-economic
activities in Brazil and in Africa. Our goal is to defend the rights of poor social
groups and populations, to struggle against poverty and all the processes which
tear apart social networks. Bem Comum seeks to implement new models of learning,
of living in society and of finding alternative systems of education, production,
trade, employment and credit. In 2004 the organization was granted the title of
OSCIP (Public Interest Civil Society Organization) Certificate from the Ministry
of Justice of Brazil. The Association is currently
carrying out the following three projects:
